Struck of pure Muonionalusta meteorite, this extraordinary coin represents a

symbolic depiction of Siegfried and Brunhild, inspired by a modern

interpretation of “The Song of the Nibelungs”.

Following the falling star, the heroes find it and fight for it, then fall in love with each other and vow to meet again, dividing the meteorite into two halves and making of them two separate weapons- one for each of them.

This way, the meteorite plays the central role in the story of Siegfried and Brunhild, and their weapons made of pieces of unearthly material become a central relief element on the coin.
