Beer is an alcoholic drink, having its roots in ancient history. It’s one of the most popular drinks around the world, coming in the form of many different tastes and colours. Beer is produced by the process of fermentation of starches, and of course brewing. It’s also a staple drink in many different pubs and bars.

The Pilsner is a type of beer, categorized under the pale lagers. It’s named after a Bohemian city, called Pilsen. This is also where it was first brewed by a Bavarian brewer, Josef Groll, in 1842. Since then, the Pilsner has become one of the most popular beers. The Pilsner has a very light and clear yellow/ golden colour, the alcoholic strength is often between 4% – 5%.
