TIME FOR TEA 17.5 g 1 Dollar Silver Coin Niue 2025

A collector's ode to the tea ritual

Not everything special has to be unique. Sometimes it is a cup of tea – ordinary and familiar – that gives meaning to the whole day. The Time for Tea coin from the Mint of Poland captures the atmosphere of tea time: calm, warm moments just for yourself or with the people you love.

“If you are cold, tea will warm you; if you are too heated, it will cool you.” – William Gladstone

Coin design

On the reverse, set on a delicate lace doily, stand a silver teapot and a rose-patterned porcelain cup filled with amber tea. Beside them are ripe strawberries, white flowers and green leaves, with the calligraphic inscription time for tea. At the heart of the design is a three-dimensional 3D biscuit insert that rises clearly above the surface and gives the coin remarkable depth. The whole is styled in a vintage mood, a nod to classic elegance.

The colours are applied with digital printing, details are enhanced with micro-printing and laser frosting, all on a proof finish. The obverse features the Public Seal of Niue, the face value ONE DOLLAR, the fineness Ag 999 and the year 2025.

Packaging

The coin comes in an elegant box with a display window and Time for tea artwork, together with a certificate of authenticity.
