2026 Bödvar Saga: Loss 1 oz Copper BU is the first release in the Bödvar Saga series by Germania Mint. The coin depicts the tragic turning point in the life of the legendary warrior Bödvar, whose quest for justice begins after losing his wife and having his daughter abducted. The obverse captures the dramatic scene of loss and despair, while the reverse features the sacred Mount Thorbjorn surrounded by Norse symbolism, runes, and a stone bear motif. Designed by Mateusz Frąckowiak, the coin has a limited mintage of 25,000 pieces and comes in a capsule with a Certificate of Authenticity.
