ANNE FRANK 1 OZ 2 DOLLARS SILVER COIN NIUE 2025
This commemorative 1 oz Silver coin pays tribute to Anne Frank – a universal symbol of hope and the human spirit in the face of darkness. Born in Frankfurt in 1929, she spent two years in hiding with her family in the annex above her father’s business in Amsterdam. There, her diary – “Kitty” – took shape, capturing both fear and the bright pulse of hope.
On August 4, 1944, the hiding place was discovered, and the family was deported to concentration camps. Anne died in Bergen-Belsen of typhus. Only her father, Otto Frank, survived. Because of him, her voice remained. Published in 1947, her diary became one of the most important testimonies of the 20th century.
Now, her legacy lives on in Silver – finished in Antique with detailed relief.
The coin comes in a protective capsule with a Certificate of Authenticity.
Limited worldwide mintage: only 199 pieces.
Reverse
Features Anne Frank’s portrait with a gentle, enduring smile. Shredded pages of her diary lift in the wind, encircled by barbed wire – a symbol of captivity and memory. In the background, the shadow of the concentration camp. Also inscribed: “Anna Frank”, a heartfelt Italian homage.
Obverse
An open diary wrapped in barbed wire that blossoms into a rose – hope within suffering. Behind it, the stark wall of the camp. At the base, the Public Seal of Niue and inscriptions:
“2025”, “2 Dollars”, and Anne’s words:
“I don't want to have lived in vain.”
Her voice continues.
